Please have the following documentation for all signers at the time of the signing - current government issued photo ID. If you do not have a current ID, we will not be able to complete the service. Some documents may also require witnesses, so check ahead of time.
No. Original identification is required. A photocopy is not sufficient because the notary must verify your identity using official, government-issued documentation.
No. All signers must personally appear before the notary at the time of notarization.
The role of the notary is to verify and witness signatures. The signer will need to sign in the presence of the notary.
Yes. I can provide a witness for your notarization for an additional $10 fee per witness. Please check documentation prior to scheduling, some require more than one witness.
No. A notary is not allowed to give legal advice or help fill out forms unless they are also a licensed attorney or certified in specific roles. Their job is to verify identity and witness signatures.
